Membership
The purpose of the affiliate trust is to promote effective and ethical Internet marketing methods. That will initially be accomplished through the distribution of multimedia products produced by Affiliate Trust member volunteers. Your membership is coveted whether you wish to volunteer or not.
Membership is currently free and there are three membership levels…
Observer: This default level gives access to public pages and forums with posting and PM privileges.
Member: The Member level gives access to all lists* and many additional sub-forums with posting, PM, and signature privileges
Contributor: The Contributor or volunteer level gives access to all lists* and forums with posting, PM, signature, and other forum feature privileges not afforded the other levels. The Contributor forums are where the work of the Affiliate Trust takes place through member collaboration. Upgrades to Contributor level are approved for those who desire and plan to participate in Affiliate Trust projects.
Benefits of membership (other than Observer level) include access to Affiliate Trust approved merchant and affiliate rolls, the BHO/ParasiteWare(TM) list*, the BHO merchants list*, investigatory services, and general forum support.

We have begun work on the first project to address questionable marketing methods. Opportunities to serve include but are not limited to the following:
Leaders/Organizers
Authors
Media Creation/Distributors
Developers
Testers
Investigators
Ambassadors
These categories are pretty general and there are many opportunities within each that span a range of skills from very basic to advanced. So consider giving us a hand in cleaning up the industry and making it more profitable for all of us.
This all sounds pretty hustle and bustle, but in reality the AT is still in the formation stage and we’re taking baby steps to accomplish a project and at the same time build the membership. Because of the urgency of our mission we must progress toward releasing our first media product. The sooner new members register, the sooner we can alert the marketing community of the pitfalls of partner choices.
